These times are extreme, but unfortunately they aren’t unprecedented in world history. I grew up familiar with the horrors of war. I’ve stood on the edge of the grave my grandmother was forced to dig for herself under Nazi order, a fate she miraculously avoided. When the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began over three years ago, I knew too well what was at stake—so I sprang into action. I’ve spent the past few years on the ground in DC, working with foreign dignitaries and developing legislation within the US Congress, forming the skills and relationships necessary to get things done when nothing is business as usual.

Even when it’s status-quo, life’s dealt me my share of opportunities and obstacles. From growing up on a local apple farm, surviving domestic violence, experiencing single-parenthood, relying on food stamps during a hard time, suffering pregnancy loss, guiding my toddler through life-saving brain surgery, achieving a Master’s in Education, running local non-profits, founding international organizations that defend Democracy here and abroad—I’ve gained a lot of perspective. I understand the devastating impacts of the affordability crisis and the immediate threat to our democracy and civil liberties, and what will happen if good people do nothing.

Our democracy is under hostile attack from within. Not only do I know how to successfully defend it, but my plans are actionable thanks to the networks and foundations I’ve been building. I’m ready, I’m prepared, and I’m determined to show up and stand up for the people of New Hampshire. Enough about me - for now. What I'm really interested in is you. My neighbors, my community, my fellow Granite-Staters: I want to hear from you and about you, for you. You're the reason I'm doing what I do; and above all else, I want to know what matters to you, concerns you, and drives you.
